Mr. Tsalahouris is a member of the I.K.S., a Board member of the G.K.S. and a professor of the Kodály Conservatory in Athens. He has been commissioned a choral piece from the I.K.S. (The cat and the moon, 1999) that was performed at the Kecskemét I.K.S. Symposium. He was recently invited as a jury member at the International Béla Bartók Choir Competition, he has received the prestigious I.A. Papaioannou Award (for 2008) of the Academy of Athens, and he is celebrating his 20th anniversary as a composer!
