The Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music held a ceremony to thank Dr. Laura Zita Kéri, deputy director of our Institute, for her 44 years of service. The laudation was given by Director Judit Rajk, and Rector Gábor Farkas presented the Zsolnay Medal of the Liszt Academy. The Zsolnay Medal is a replica of one of the 22 Zsolnai eosin spheres that decorate the building of the Liszt Academy and, according to tradition, bring good luck to students when touched. Although our Zita is retiring from the daily duties, she will stay with us with her knowledge and assistance, but in a different way.
Thank you very much, dear Zita, for all the years you have devoted to the Kodály Institute!
