Kodály Australia: 2025 Year in Review
Throughout 2025, Kodály Australia continued to advance its mission of fostering Kodály‑inspired music education in Australia.
Professional Learning and Programs
Supporting the members of our community remains one of our key priorities. To achieve this, more than 30 face‑to‑face and online professional learning events were delivered by state branches and chapters, featuring presenters from Australia and overseas.
In addition, Kodály South Australia delivered (for the 6th consecutive year) the Musical Foundations in-service professional development program as part of the South Australian Department for Education Music Education Strategy.
Kodály Australia acknowledges the essential work of its branch and chapter committees, whose members volunteer significant time and expertise to organise and deliver these learning opportunities.
Member Portal Launch
In 2025, Kodály Australia launched a refreshed Member Portal, providing members with access to an expanding digital collection of teaching resources, publications and professional learning materials. The portal represents a key step in improving access and connection for members across Australia and for those engaging internationally.
